I wanted to share with you my schedule over the next few weeks as I promote The Blue Team.

Today I’ll be interviewed on Faith Positive Radio.  Many thanks to fellow Ridgewood High School graduate, David Rynne, for initiating that. You can listen in on their website at: https://baptiststoday.org/faith-positive-radio-dr-joey-and-mike/

Next Tuesday at 9 EST I will fill-in for Clark Kellogg and host Basketball Club International’s (BCI) spreecast, Courtside Live (CSL).  Among those I will be interviewing is former NY Knick, Charlie Ward.

BCI was started by my old Athletes in Action coach, Sharm Scheuerman. Sharm and I traveled to Poland & Greece back in August of 1989.  For those of you who love history, that was 3 months before the Berlin Wall fell.  When our plane landed in Poland, soldiers with AK 47’s stood at either side of the stairs as we disembarked.  During our week there we could look out on the Baltic Sea and watch Soviet summaries cruise a few miles from the shore.  Our team was the first to be allowed to publicly profess our faith.  Since then AIA has sent numerous teams to several former Soviet Bloc countries.

And speaking of AIA, I will be sharing a booth at the Final Four in Houston, TX with AIA as well as emceeing their 50th anniversary celebration.  In addition to the 1989 tour I went on with Sharm, I also traveled to Brazil in 1988.

The Blue Team is now available in paperback and ebook formats at Lulu.com.  Click on the Lulu icon below.  I love hearing back from satisfied readers.  Former college basketball coach, Dan Hovestol had this to say about The Blue Team: “Highly recommend The Blue Team! The storyline reeled me in from the start and I couldn’t put the book down until I completed reading it. The book is both inspiring and personally challenging. Kick off March Madness with a book that embraces a basketball storyline intertwined with elements of faith and family. You will not be disappointed!”
